Facebook Showing Wrong Thumbnail Image When Share Blogger Post

As a blogger everyone wants to promote his/her blog on social network mostly like Facebook. Have you ever observed that when you share a blogger post on Facebook it does not shows the right image or taking a picture any where from your blog. It is the most common problem in Facebook since from several years and still its not solved. However it is not much clear to to pick the right picture of your blog post. To solve this issue you have customize your blog template just to add a piece of inside it. With this customization Facebook will show the right image when you share your blog post link at Facebook wall.

The same thing is happen with TrueBloggingTricks earlier days when we publish post link on Facebook it shows a wrong picture or showing no picture. After many articles about Facebook I finally come to know to resolve Facebook wrong picture issue.

How to Fix Facebook Showing Wrong Thumbnail Image in Blogger Template ?

  • Goto Blogger Dashboard.
  • Template >> Edit HTML.
  • Find <head> tag by pressing Ctrl+F.
  • Copy the below code and paste it after <head> tag.

  •  Click on save button and you done it.

    Although I'm not using Blogger your article was helpful to me as well. In the past I noticed that Facebook tends to take the first picture in an article but not always. When working on a fb page that contains several kinds of sensors (co2 sensors, humidity sensors) I tried to take larger pictures but that was not helpful either. Right now I manipulated the website theme as you mentioned - and now it works!
