How To Submit Blogger Sitemap To Bing and Yahoo ?
As I told before that bing and yahoo are connected with each other so you just only a sitemap to bing and yahoo will get automatically from bing. So the steps are same as submitted in google webmaster tools in our recent post. So firstly you will need to verify your blog in bing webmaster tools and the second thing is you will submit a sitemap, so friends lets begin the tutorial.
- Goto bing webmaster tools.
- Sign in to your account [Incase you don't have account then create a new one]
- Insert your blog url and click on "Add Button"
- When you click on Add Button something appear like below screen shot.
- In the sitemap box add the below code.
http://www.yoursite.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
The above code is for just 500 postz only. If you have more than 500 posts then choose the appropriate code from the below box for your blog.
For 1 to 500 Posts :
http://www.yoursite.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
For 500 To 1000 Posts :
http://www.yoursite.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=500&max-results=1000
For 1000 To 1500 Posts :
http://www.yoursite.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1000&max-results=1500
For 1500 to 2000 Posts :
http://www.yoursite.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1500&max-results=2000
- After adding code replace highlighted color with your blog link.
- Click on Add button.
- Now after click on Add button you will be ask for verifying your blog.
- Now copy the meta tag and paste it into notepad.
- Goto blogger.com in new tab in your browser.
- Template >> Edit Html
- Find <head> by pressing Ctrl+F
- Now paste the meta tag below <head> that you saved in notepad.
- Now again goto bing webmaster tools and click "Verify" button at the buttom
- Your sitemap is submitted successfully you will see that sitemap status is pending in the dashboard.
- You done it.
- Wait for about week and your blog completely indexed.
Final Words
Finally you have submitted your sitemap to search engines succesfully. You have to wait about week for completely indexed and after that you will get a huge traffic from search engines.
